Perfection is possible but it’s consuming. The desire for perfection can rule your life. Some people are addicted to perfection. They want the perfect job, and house. They even look for it in people. They want the perfect friend and partner. A friend of mine reminded me that you can become busy looking for perfection and miss “good.” Don’t let that happen to you. Instead of searching for what’s perfect, look for what’s good. When you find the good, nurture it until it becomes better. It will take less time to find what’s good than to find what’s perfect.
