It’s not necessary to cram your day with numerous activities to be productive. You only need to achieve one major goal. The Rhode Island Red Hen is a great example of this principle. She lays one egg per day for 364 days a year, taking a day off at the end to reflect on her accomplishments. Instead of adding ten things to your to-do list, focus on your biggest goal of the day and invest all your energy into it, just like the Rhode Island Red Hen. After achieving your goal, you can celebrate at the end of the day or week. By accomplishing one major task per day, you’ll be setting expectations for the next day.
